February 2021 Compliance Alert

Attached please find the second Compliance Alert for 2021 provided by Richard Szczebak, Esq. This Alert discussed guidance on the COBRA/HIPAA Outbreak Period released last Friday. Relief related to the Outbreak Period was set to expire on February 28th with very little fanfare but continues today because of last minute guidance released by the DOL. While the Outbreak Period is ongoing, it will now be administered differently - on an individual by individual basis.
