Paid Mass Family Medical Leave Update 9/27/2019

Good morning,

Within the last few days over 10 carriers have received approval to sell private PFML policies. BBI is assessing the value to offer these private plans vs. the public option and will be in touch with our clients to review their options before the deadline to file for exemption under the law on December 20th.

Although pricing is only just becoming available we feel that it is worth exploring for companies with more than 25 employees who have to contribute towards the plan.
